PURPOSE: To achieve tight and correct holding by providing a plug having plural terminal receiving cavities, a housing having a terminal receiving surface on the opposite side of an engagement surface, providing each cavity to penetrate a connector main body, and providing a terminal receiving port on the receiving surface. CONSTITUTION: A plug part 16 has plural terminal receiving cavities 62 penetrating in the axial direction, and a pin receiving port 64 opened on an engagement surface is provided. A connector main body 14 is integrally formed with the plug part 16 and the other end part 22, and a hood 68 is protruded forward to enclose the part 16, where a socket is engaged. A main body 14 has a terminal receiving surface 70 on the opposite side of the surface 66, each cavity 62 penetrates the connector main body 14, and it has a terminal receiving port 72. A connector 10 is provided with a terminal leg parting plate 74 protruded from one edge of the receiving surface 70, and it has plural thin terminal groove receiving grooves 76 extended perpendicularly to the receiving surface 70 to be opened on an edge 78 of the plate 74. A single side form insulation housing for an electric connector can thus be provided. |
