PURPOSE:To improve thermal characteristics between double glass sheets as well as thermal characteristics in an indoor side perimeter zone by forcibly sending air from an air conditioner into an air chamber between the double glass sheets provided in a sash. CONSTITUTION:A sash 3 is mounted at a building opening 2, and two glass sheets 3a and 3b are fitted in the sash 3. A blind may also be provided between the glass sheets 3a and 3b, and an outer duct 8 for discharging air within an air chamber 4 to the outside of a room is formed in the upper frame 6 of the sash, while an inner duct 9 for introducing indoor air into the air chamber 4 is formed in the lower frame 7 of the sash. An air conditioner 10 or a motor for ventilation is connected to the inner duct 9. According to this construction, cooling efficiency is improved because cold air in the air-cooled room is made to pass through the air chamber by introducing indoor air into the air chamber 4 and discharging it through the outer duct 8. |
