PURPOSE:To improve the lightfastness of the title material by incorporating a compd. contg. a specified metal in the photosensitive material contg. a divalent 5-pyrazolone type mazenta coupler. CONSTITUTION:The lightfastness of the photosensitive material is improved by incorporating at least one kind of the 5-pyrazolone coupler having a releasable group shown by formula I at a coupling position, together with at least one kind of a compd. shown by formula II in the photosensitive material. In formula I, L1 and L2 are the same or the different with each other and each methylene or ethylene group which may be substd., (m) and (n) are each 0 or 1, Y is R1 or ZR2 group, R1 is aryl or a heterocyclic group which may be substd., or a sec, or a tert, alkyl group shown by formula III, R3 and R4 are each halogen atom, R2 or Z1Rb group, Z is oxygen or sulfur atom or -NRc group, R2 is alkyl, aryl or a heterocyclic ring group which may be substd. In formula II, M is Cu, Co, Ni, Pd or Pt, Lg is a ligand capable of forming a metal complex or its residual group together with the group M, or an org. acid residual group capable of forming a metal salt together with the group M, (k) is an integer of 1-6, when (k) is >=1, the group Lg may be the same or the different with each other. |
