THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent mechanical properties and good appearance and moldability by mixing an aromatic polycarbonate resin with a polysiloxanediol/polycaprolactone block copolymer. CONSTITUTION:This thermoplastic resin composition is formed by mixing an aromatic polycarbonate resin with a polysiloxanediol/polycaprolactone block copolymer of formula I (wherein R1 and R2 are each methyl, phenyl or a 7-9 C aralkyl; 0<=y/(x+y) <=0.8; Z is 3-400; A and A' are each formula II (wherein p is 2-6; and m is 1-400); R3 is formula III (wherein n is 1-20); and R4 and R5 are each H or a 1-6 C alkyl]. Bisphenol A is particularly desirably used as the aromatic polycarbonate resin. The amount of the polysiloxanediol/ polycaprolactone block copolymer added is 0.2-50wt.% based on the total composition.
