PURPOSE:To prevent cleaning failure due to secular change and environmental change by recombining the relative positions of the mutual members of the divided cleaning blades, and changing the pressing power of the cleaning blade to a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning holder 30 is energized by a pressuring spring 33, and the cleaning blade 24 maintained by the holder 30 is pressed against the photosensitive body 15 to remove residual toner thereon. Then, the holder 30 is divided, and the relative positions of the divided mutual members are adjusted in order to change the power of the blade 24 pressuring the photosensitive body 15. Ultimately, both relative positions are recombined. |
