PURPOSE:To obtain the title agent which exhibits its effectiveness by the action of cations and far-infrared radiation by introducing silver ions into the skeletal structure of a specified ceramic by ion exchange and processing it. CONSTITUTION:In a ceramic comprising an alumina- or silica-base far-infrared radiating substance based on the following elements, etc., comprising 85% alumina or silica ceramic comprising, for example Mg, Si, Ca, Fe or Ni and 15% other materials such as Si3N4 and sialon, the Na ions in the ceramic structure are ion-exchanged with silver ions by utilizing its cationic character to ionically bond ionized silver with the skeletal structure; this product is combined with O, N and other materials; the obtained product is ground into, for example, a 400-mesh powder, and this powder is burned at a given temperature (e.g., 1,200 deg.C). |
