PURPOSE:To constitute the title method so that wrinkles or scabs are not generated on a label, by making use of a plastic oriented film having a specific thermal shrinkage factor as a substrate film. CONSTITUTION:A plastic oriented film 2 having a higher thermal shrinkage factor than a plastic molding shrinkage factor at a temperature T1 lower by 30 deg.C than the melting point or softening point of plastic constituting the outer surface of a vessel is made a substrate, in a label 1 and the same, to which a metal is provided so that the metal becomes a thin layer, generally a thickness of 50-150000Angstrom , is used. It becomes possible that thermal shrinkage properties remain on the label 1 so that a residual equilibrium shrinkage factor falls within a fixed sphere by making use of an oriented plastic film having the higher thermal shrinkage factor than the molding shrinkage factor of the plastic constituting the outer surface of the vessel at the temperature T1. With this construction, the outer surface of the label is held smooth and adhesion of the label to the vessel is improved. |
