PURPOSE:To prevent undesired leakage of a signal of a prescribed frequency to an output signal by constituting the multiplier with a slice circuit giving an output while inhibiting an input signal being a video signal at a prescribed level or below and a balanced modulator receiving the input signal with a prescribed frequency and multiplying it with the output signal of the said slice circuit. CONSTITUTION:A video signal inputted from a terminal 1 is given to the slice circuit 3, in which a signal with a prescribed level or below is inhibited. A signal outputted from the slice circuit 3 and a signal with a prescribed frequency given from a terminal 2 are given to the balanced modulator 4 and multiplied. The resulting multiplied signal is outputted from a terminal 5. Thus, even if the DC component level of the inputted video signal is fluctuated due to the effect of temperature drift or the like, an excellent multiplier is realized, in which no undesired leakage of a signal with a prescribed frequency is included in the output signal. |
