PURPOSE:To efficiency synthesize laser light by providing means of changing the incident angle of the laser light emitted from one semiconductor laser to a dichroic mirror with the dichroic mirror as the center of rotation. CONSTITUTION:Two beams of the laser light having wavelengths lambda1 and lambda2 enter the dichroic mirror 9. Two beams of the laser light having the wavelengths lambda1 and lambda2 are synthesized by the dichroic mirror 9 and are passed through a polarized beam splitter 14 and a quarter-wave plate 15; thereafter, the beams are converted as a very small spot onto an optical disk 17 by an objective lens 26. The optical parts consisting of the semiconductor laser 10, a collimating lens 11, a cylindrical lens 12, and a half-way plate 13 and the above-mentioned dichroic mirror 9 are constituted turnable independently or cooperatively. The laser light having the wavelength lambda1 and the laser light having the wavelength lambda2 are efficiently synthesized by adjusting the angles of the above-mentioned optical parts and the dichroic mirror 9 by the rotating mechanism D. |
