PURPOSE:To obtain a non-directional or nearly non-directional light using a light emitting diode by radiating the light from a light source on a reflecting mirror, and irregularly reflecting the reflected light on the inner surface of an outer casing having the inner surface as an irregularly reflecting surface of light. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting diodes 2 are disposed on the both surfaces of a printed board 3 and situated in the middle of a translucent outer casing 1. The outer casing 1 is formed in a cylindrical form and subjected to diamond cut processing so that the inner surface irregularly reflects light. When an electric current is applied to make the light emitting diodes 2 luminous, the emitted lights are reflected by a reflecting mirror 5, and repeatedly irregularly reflected by the irregularly reflecting surface of the inner surface of the casing 1 to make the whole wall surface of the outer casing 1 luminous. |
