<p>PURPOSE: To high-efficiently transmit the heat of a heating medium to water in a tank, by a method wherein a pipe is mounted extending from a part adjoining a region being most cold at the bottom of a water tank to a given position of the height of a tank. CONSTITUTION: A heat-exchange device is provided with a water tank 1 and this water tank 1 comprises a cylindrical wall part 2, a bottom wall part 3, a protrusion- shaped top wall part 4, a cold water inlet 5 formed adjacently to the bottom wall part 3 and having a divider 6, and a hot water outlet 7 adjoining the top wall part 4. A pipe 8 through which a refrigerant, such as a refrigerant R12, is transferred is wound around the outer surface of a tank wall part 2. The pipe 8 is extended from a position adjoining the bottom wall part 3 to approximately 2/3 of the whole height of the tank 1, and a heat-exchange surface 5 is formed at the wall part 2. The lowermost curved part of the pipe 8 is positioned below a cold water inlet 5, and the cold water inlet has an ordinary and low temperature. The pipe 8 and the tank 1 are formed of a steel or a stainless steel having the efficiency of thermal expansion similar to that of the steel. The heat-exchange device having the structure described above is well suitable for a solar heat boosting type heat pump water heating device and the high efficiency of thermal efficiency is provided therefor.</p> |
