PURPOSE:To eliminate the effect of rainfall, by receiving beacon waves from a plurality of points and selecting a wave out of them suitable for the directivity control of antenna. CONSTITUTION:In installing beacon stations at two points apart by >= several tens of kilometers, the probability that the weather at both the points at the same time is very less. A satellite monitors the electric field intensity of the beacon waves incoming from a plurality of points. When the electric field intensity of a signal using as the beacon is decreased and is a predetermined threshold level, the satellite changes over the beacon to the other beacon wave. Even if the reception of one wave is deteriorated due to rain or an accident, the antenna is directed to a desired direction correctly. Further, the range of the two points (sevral tens of killometers) is within a range of error to the directivity of the antenna mounted on the satellite. |
