PURPOSE:To compensate the lighting delay of a discharge light source with an incandescent light source and improve the color rendering properties and practicability by disposing the discharge light source adjacent to the incandescent light source within an integrally formed lamp body, and providing reflecting mirrors for directing the light of each light source downward. CONSTITUTION:A discharge light source 2 and an incandescent light source 3 are disposed as adjacent as possible within a lamp body 1 so that the center 3a of the light source 3 is laid in the position lower than the center 2a of the light source 2. A reflecting mirror 4 to the light source 2 is, for example, a focused reflecting mirror such as a rotating parabolic surface. The reflecting mirror 4 is disposed in the upper half part of the lamp body 1, and the focus F4 is laid in the rear of the center 2a of the light source 2. A hood 6 is further installed below the light source 2. A reflecting mirror 5 to the light source 3 is disposed nearly in the lower half part of the lighting body 1, and the focus F5 is laid in the illuminating forward direction over the center 3a of the light source 3. When the lighting of a head lamp during the night is required, an electric power is supplied to the light sources 2, 3 simultaneously to light the light source 3 first and light the light source 2 after a determined time. |
