PURPOSE: To obtain a device by inserting a plug means into respective holes lined by plastic, and quickly penetrating respective pipe end parts into these respective holes after removing the plug means to recover heat in exhaust gas and remove grain-like material. CONSTITUTION: First, the hole portion in a pipe plate 43 is coated by the thin plate 101 of TFE teflon, and then a tool 104 electrically heated is extruded by penetrating the holes in the pipe plate 43 by the teflon thin plate portion. After that, the tool 104 is quickly retreated from the pipe plate 43 to form collars or beads around the holes on the outer side of the pipe plate 43. When all holes in two pipe plates 43 and 44 are treated thus, side part members 40 and 41 and the pipe plates 43 and 44 are bolted together to these final profiles to quickly insert one end part of a pipe 48 into the holes from the outer side of a pipe 43. The thin coat of teflon of a heat exchanger obtained thus prevents the corrosion of these pipes while allowing proper heat transmission, and dropping condensation water washes off grain-like material from the pipes. |
