<p>Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system and Tl-Pb-Ba-Ca-Cu-O system superconductor having a high Tc phase (about 110 K and about 125 K, respectively, or more) in a high proportion are obtained by adding a calcium compound which forms CaO and a liquid phase at a temperature for firing the superconductors, e.g., Ca2PbOx(x = 3 or 4); or by starting from a composition represented by the formula: Bi2Pb(n-1)/2Sr2CanCun+1Ob min , or T l 2Pb(n-1)/2Ba2CanCun+1Ob where 2 </= n </= 10, 9 </= b </= 40.5, i.e., at a ratio of Ca:Pb = 2:1.</p> |
