<p>PURPOSE:To generate new, design-based effect in which clearness of two coating colors is turned over in a case looked from the front and in the case looked from the oblique direction by making the total area ratio of a sheen layer to the surface area of a pigment film layer different in a first film and a second film. CONSTITUTION:A film is constituted of an electrolytic deposition film 2 formed on the surface of a steel plate 1, an intercoating film 3, a first film 4, a clear film 5, a second film 6 formed on the surface partly of the clear film 5 and a clear film 7 formed on the surface of the second film 6. First, silver is plated in the island shape on the titanized mica surface by the electroless plating method to form a sheen layer and manufacture a new pigment. Said pigment is added to the mixed solution of acryl resin and melamine resin to prepare a first metallic coating material, which is applied to a car body formed up to the intercoating film 3 by spray coating, baked and dried, and the first coating film 4 and the clear film 5 are formed integrally. Then masking is applied on the surface of the clear film 5 and only the lower section of the side surface is disclosed, while a second metallic coating material using a new pigment of different sheen rate is applied by spray coating, baked and dried to form the second film 6 and a clear film 7 integrally.</p> |
