PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium having excellent thermal and optical stability and a recording layer improved in reclaimed deterioration by incorporating at least one type of compound selected from specific two formulae in the recording layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one type of compound selected from general formulas (I) and (II) is contained in a recording layer in an optical information recording medium. In the formulae, M is Cu, Ni, Pt, Pd, In, VO or Ti, R1-R4 and R9 are hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, R5-R8 are hydrogen, halogen, hydroxyl group, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, alkoxy group or aryl group. Basically, a recording layer made of organic colorant is provided on a board, and, as required, a primary layer may be provided between the board and the recording layer or a protective layer may be provided on the recording layer. The recording layer is made of at least one type of compound selected from general formulae (I) and (II) as main ingredients. |
