<p>PURPOSE:To make an edit easy by broadcasting a tone signal to notice a pro gram, which a viewer does not look forward to, before and after the time zone of it at a broadcasting station side, receiving the tone signal by the auto matic editing function of a VTR device at a viewer side and select-recording. CONSTITUTION:A broadcasting station side broadcasts a tone signal to notice starting at a starting time 15 of a time zone 14 of a program, which a viewer does not look forward to recording, and broadcasts the tone signal to notice an end at ending time 16. The tone signal selects frequency near a voice band upper limit and does not give an unpleasant feeling to the ear of a human. On the other hand, a viewer side sets the automatic editing function selecting switch of a VTR device on, detects the starting tone signal, stops recording temporarily, detects the ending tone signal, cancels a temporary stopping condition and repeats an action to recording ending time 12. Thus, only the program to be recorded can be select-recorded, and editing work is made easy.</p> |
