<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a transparent touch panel providing a better view of its background therethrough by reducing the difference between the transparency of the intersecting part of respective transference electrode portions of insulating substrates, each of which portions forms a touch panel constituting portion, and that of the other portions. CONSTITUTION:Each of transference electrodes 2 having the shapes as required is provided in the required position on a single face of each of transparent insulating substrates 3, and the transference electrodes 2 are opposed to each other in predetermined spaced relationship to each other, with a spacer interposed therebetween. A conductive coat 4 having the same transparency as that of each of the transference electrodes is provided on the face of one of the substrates 3, on which face one of the transference electrodes 2 is mounted, and particularly in its portions other than one of the transference electrodes 2 so that the coat is separated therefrom; or, an insulating coat 4' having the same transparency as that of each of the transference electrodes is provided on the face of one of the transparent insulating substrates 3, on which face one of the transference electrodes 2 is provided, and particularly in its portion other than one of the transference electrodes 2, so that the transparency of its electrode forming portion is equal to that of the other portions; in a touch panel thus assembled, the transparency of its touch panel constituting portion 1 is much closer to that of the other portions than in any other one of conventional construction, thereby enabling its background to be seen more clearly therethrough.</p> |
