PURPOSE:To obtain a remedy for liver diseases comprising a piperazine derivative including a novel compound or a salt thereof as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A remedy for liver diseases comprising a compound shown by the formula [A is phenyl, p-benzoquinonyl or coumarinyl which may contain halogen, alkyl, fluoroalkyl, formyl, alkoxycarbonyl, acyl, OH, alkoxy, NH2, SH alkylthio, NO2, etc., as substituent group; B is single bond and 1-4C alkylene which may contain alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, OH or oxo as substituent group; R is H, alkaline (earth) metal, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl] or a salt thereof such as methyl 4-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)-1-piperazinecarbothioate as an active ingredient. The compound is useful as a remedy for liver diseases, anti- inflammatory drug, antirheumatic agents and a remedy for diseases of digestive tubes. |
