<p>PURPOSE:To easily scroll an image plane by starting and ending the scrolling operation according to the operation detection result of an operation detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When the operation button of a pointing device 2 is operated according to a predetermined rule, the operation detecting means 12 detects the operation button being operated according to the predetermined rule. Thus the operation detecting means 12 performs the detection and then a scroll means 11 starts or ends scrolling operation. Consequently, a scroll bar need not be displayed on the screen and the area for a table or document to be displayed can be made large. Further, the image plane can be scrolled without moving a cursor 33 which moves associatively with the pointing device 2 onto the scroll bar at each time, so the operability is improved.</p> |
