PURPOSE:To decrease an omission of image information caused by a fact that the tone of a color is scarcely varied and an erasion has a larger pitch than that of ready by converting color data of a read unit to color data of an erasion unit and reconverting it in accordance with a real image. CONSTITUTION:Color data of a read unit by a color CCD 51 of an original reading means is converted to color data of an erasion unit by an LED editing eraser 5 whose size is different and stored in a memory 70. Also, an original image is divided into block units containing prescribed number of erasion units, the corresponding data is read out successively from the memory 70 at every block unit and a distributing state of the color is detected, and in accordance with the state, the data is reconverted successively and re-stored in the memory, and based on this reconverted data, the LED eraser 5 is controlled. In such a way, the omission of image information of adjacent erasion units, especially, the variation of a shape is decreased, and also, the variation of the tone of a color can be minimized. |
