PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness and preservable property at and under a high temp. and high humidity of the photosensitive material by specifying the total sum of the film thickness of all the colloidal layers on an emulsion layer side and the silver content in the emulsion layers and hardening the films with a specific hardening agent. CONSTITUTION:The sum total of the film thicknesses of all the hydrophilic colloidal layers on the emulsion layer side of the title photosensitive material is confined to <=17.0mum and the content of the photosensitive layer halide in all the emulsion layers is confined to <=4.7g/m<2> in terms of silver and are further hardened by the hardening agent expressed by formula I. In formula, R denotes H, lower alkyl; Z denotes a group of n-valency including >=1 among O, N and S. The compd. expressed by formula II, etc., are usable as the hardening agent of the formula and may be added into the outermost layer or the adjacent layer or other gelatin contg. layers at the time of coating double layers. The use of >=2 kinds of the hardening agents expressed by formula and the combination use of the other hardening agents are possible as well. |
