INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION OF XYLOSE

摘要

PURPOSE:To contrive mass production and reutilization of the title compound by separating an isomerized liquid obtained by reacting xylose with isomerase using a column comprising a sulfurous acid ion type anion exchange resin as a filler at a specific column temperature. CONSTITUTION:An isomerase is added to a xylose solution having 20-70% concentration at an amount of 5-40mg/ml and reacted with xylose at 40-70 deg.C for 1-10hr to prepare an isomerized liquid, which is then passed through a column using a sulfurous acid anion exchange resin as a filler at >=30 deg.C (preferably 45-65 deg.C) to separate and provide the aimed compound.
