PURPOSE:To attain immediate resynchronization even in the occurrence of out of synchronism and to reduce missing information in the occurrence of a transmission error by replacing data patterns appearing a lot into a header pattern and sending the result. CONSTITUTION:An analog picture signal is converted into a parallel digital data by an A/D converter 4 and a comparator 5 decides Whether or not the output of the A/D converter 4 is coincident with predetermined fixed data patterns appearing most (or comparatively much). In the absence of the fixed pattern, a transmitter 7 sends a picture signal data as it is and sends a synchronizing header pattern in the presence of the fixed pattern. Then a transmitter 8 applies serial/parallel conversion and decoding to a serial data sent from the transmitter 7, a multiplexer 12 passes a usual parallel data as it is by a command of a header detection section 9 and outputs the predetermined fixed pattern by the header detection section 9 in the detection of the header pattern. Thus, no missing of original information takes place in the reception side and synchronization is taken simply. |
