摘要 |
PURPOSE: To measure spatial distribution of neutron flux density by moving a movable sensor through a measuring region. CONSTITUTION: A cable 4 comprising two lead wires has one end 16 connected with a detector 2 and the other end fixed to the surface of a drum 6. The drum 6 turns to wind up the cable 4 and rewind the cable 4 to move the detector 2. A current/voltage converter 10 disposed on the inside of drum 6 has inputs 22A (for transmitting the current strength characteristics of measurement) and 22B (feeding a high voltage box 35 for polarizing the detector 2) to be connected with the cable 4 and outputs 24A, 24B to be connected with a slip ring 16. The slip ring 16 is disposed on the outer surface of drum 6 on the side opposite to a fixed brush 20 connected with a voltmeter 12 through a cable 14. This assembly is used in a reactor and can measure the flux distribution definitely.
