MISALIGNMENT CORRECTING APPARATUS FOR PIPE CONNECTION

PURPOSE:To permit the connection between movable side piping adapted for a free coupling with a fixed side pipe connection and a fixed side piping absorbing a misalignment therebetween by slightly displacing a positioning pin receiver of the fixed side pipe connection upon misalignment. CONSTITUTION:Positioning pins 12 and 12' and a movable side connector 7 are freely movable toward and away from a fixed side pipe connection B. A positioning pin receiver 21 provided with pin receiving parts 27 and 27' of the fixed side pipe connection B is elastically supportably engaged with a flange pipe 30 with a fixed side pipe connector 31 mounted on its front end and a flexible pipe 32 connected with its rear end. The flange pipe 30 and the positioning pin receiver 21 are so interengaged as to allow a small displacement therebetween and hence between the upper and lower parts of the positioning pin receiver 21. Therefore, in the case of a misalignment taking place between a movable side piping 5 adapted for a free coupling with the fixed side pipe connection B and a fixed side piping 20, their connection can be done by displacing the positioning pin receiver 21 slightly.
