<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject cutting apparatus exerting an action to fit a plurality of comb teeth having fitting width to a warp part of a continuous towel cloth having warp parts at regular intervals, correct the bending of the warp with the comb teeth and cut the cloth into each towel with upper and lower cutters. CONSTITUTION:An end of a towel cloth A is clamped with clamps 10, 11 by the reciprocating motion of a transfer apparatus 13 of a clamping part 3 and drawn to a prescribed position on the working tables 2a, 2b. The towel cloth A is pushed down into a space 2c with the main body 14 of the towel cloth drawing part 4 and pressed against the working table 2b with a pressing plate 34. The surface of the towel cloth is pressed with a pressing material 33 by the action of a cylinder device 32, the bending of the towel cloth is corrected by fitting comb teeth 24 to the warp part 1A and the cloth is cut into separate sheets of towel cloth with the upper and the lower cutters 28, 29 in the middle of the warp part 1A formed on the cloth at regular intervals. The process is economical because the unnecessary warp part can be shortened compared with a conventional process.</p> |
