<p>PURPOSE: To prevent turbulence of fluid, and regulate a flow with low noise in a flow regulating valve by moving a plate type shielding body between two fixed element by composing the fixed element of a number of channels each having a small section. CONSTITUTION: Shielding bodies 7, 8 are rotatably disposed around a shaft 13 between fixed parts 9, 10 installed in a housing 1. In the fixed part 9, 10, a number of conduits 17, 18 each having a small section are formed. In the shielding body 7, 8, a number of holes 11, 12 are formed. As a handle 23 is rotated, the shielding body 7, 8 is rotated through a gear 24, and the number of the shielded or opened conduits 17, 18 is changed to control a flow. Since passages are composed of a number of conduits turbulence of fluid is prevented, and low noise is achieved.</p> |
