PURPOSE:To manufacture the film having excellent properties same as natural graphite by using a specific amide as an organic material and specifying a heating temperature in the manufacturing method in which the organic material is heated at high temperature. CONSTITUTION:A polyparaphenylene isophthalamide film is changed into graphite by heating at >=2000 deg.C in an inert gas or vacuum under an atmospheric pressure or pressed. By this method, artificial graphite having equal properties to natural one can be effectively produced. The heating temp. is required at >=2000 deg.C, and more preferably, >=2500 deg.C. The higher the heating temp. is and the longer the treatment time is, the obtained graphite has the higher graphitizing rate. |
