PURPOSE:To easily observe an original picture by detecting the range of the original and outputting this range together with the picture information of the original in the shape of position information. CONSTITUTION:A frame adding means 1300 is provided to add a boundary frame in the range of the original around a picture part, which is read by a picture reading means 100, based on the original range, which is detected by a detecting means 1100, in correspondence to the instruction of a boundary frame adding mode. A boundary position adding means 1400 is provided to add the read original range to the read picture information in the shape of the position information. Accordingly, even when the original is put in an output device side such as a printer or a display device, etc., the frame of a boundary line can be added to the picture of the original based on information concerning this original. Thus, the original picture to be visibly outputted is easily observed. |
