PURPOSE:To make a cylindrical body wound correctly around the circumference of a metallic core, and improve the yield of products by bending the both free ends of a side plate member into a U-shape in lifting it by the lifting force of elevating tables, and by pressing a pair of wings from the both sides of the side plate member. CONSTITUTION:A mold core 4 sucked to a central end surface in its bottom plate 3 is stood by between elevating tables 2, 2, and a pair of elevating tables are lifted through the activation of a driving system via an elevating block 7. When the elevating lever 31 of the elevating tables through the elevation of an elevating block 7 is lifted, a thrusting member 6 attached to a bush block 20 serves to thrust the central part of a side plate member 1 to the under surface of the mold core 4, and then the elevating table 2 pushes the both ends of the side plate member 1 upwards so as to bend it into a U-shape. At the time when a certain degree of elevation of the elevating block 7 is completed, a wing driving member 12 lifts via a base plate 28 while keeping its position in order that the wings 9 are pivoted respectively in the closing direction. And, it acts to thrust the side plate member 1 to the circumference of the mold core 4 with its curved recess part 22. The side plate member 1 can thus be wound correctly to the mold core. |
