Synergistic prepns. for the treatment of inflammations esp. of air passages, organs of locomotion and in gynaecological complaints, contain a mixt. of 1 pt.wt. of one or more antiinflammatory agents and of 0.1-200 pts.wt. of a medicinal mineral salt mainly of NaCl combined with salts contg. bromide, iodide, fluoride, lithium and borate ions. With additives this mixt. is converted to ointments, solns., fluids or suppositories applied topically.
