PURPOSE:To form a film having desired characteristics by first dyeing a dyeable film by a dye which is hardly dyeable to the dyeable film, then dyeing the same by a dye which is easily dyeable thereto. CONSTITUTION:The dyeable film 2 is formed on a glass substrate 1. UV rays are exposed to the dyeable film 2 through a negative photomask 3 on which a filter forming region is drawn. Since the exposed part of the dyeable photosensitive film 2 is cured, this dyeable photosensitive film 2 is developed with water to remove the unexposed part. A pattern 4 to be dyed is then dyed to cyan by a cyan dye which is the hardly dyeable dye and the film is dyed by a yellow dye upon ending of said dyeing, by which the pattern 4 to be dyed can be dyed to the desired green. The film is subjected to a reserve printing treatment by immersing the same in an aq. tannic acid soln. and an aq. tartar emetic soln. to form a dyed pattern 5. The color filter of a 1st color is thus obtd. The film is subjected to the dyeing treatment by the dye which is relatively hardly dyeable to the dyeable film among the dyes and thereafter the dyeing by the dye which is easily dyeable to said film is executed, by which the color filter having the desired characteristics is easily obtd. |
