<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the connecting work buried of pipes dy enabling the operation of connecting the pipes and the monitoring of the connected condition to be performed from a position on ground. CONSTITUTION:Into the socket section of a pipe P, a pipe P1 for following connection is slightly fitted, and the pipe P1 is suspended with a pipe suspending device 22, and is permitted to come in near contact with the socket section of the pipe P1, and a projecting claw 6 is projected to a groove bottom d' from a position on ground, and in a state that a plug 18 is fitted into the socket section b1, a lever rod 1 is prized with the fulcrum of the lower end of the projecting click 6. Then, by a pressure applying plate 17, the socket section of the pipe P1 is pushed, and the pipe P1 is moved, and by the pressure applying plate 17 and a rod 14 for receiving a movement reaction, oil contained in a pressure detecting cylinder 13 is pushed, and the pointer of a meter 20 is rotated. The meter is monitored and the connecting work is executed.</p> |
