<p>PURPOSE: To clean a filter with a little energy by arranging a filter cartridge around a pure gas drawing pipe and apply a discharge voltage between an electrode surrounding the filter cartridge and the pure gas drawing pipe. CONSTITUTION: A filter cartridge 5 is arranged around a pure gas drawing pipe 3. The filter cartridge 5 is surrounded by a soot combustion electrode 6, and a discharge voltage is applied between the electrode 6 and the pure gas drawing pipe 3. When soot deposits in the filter cartridge 5, an arc is generated to burn the deposited soot. As a consequence, the filter can be cleaned with a little energy.</p> |
