PURPOSE:To prevent a car from being stolen by activating a warning device when output signals are generated both from a sensor which detects the insertion of a door key or some other object into a door cylinder lock and from a means for driving the warning device. CONSTITUTION:A door cylinder lock 100 is made up of an outer cylinder 1 and an inner cylinder 2. A penetrating hole X is made across the cylinders 1, 2 in such a manner that the hole communicates with the cylinders only when a door key 200 is not inserted in the inner cylinder 2. A sensor 6 made up of photoelectric elements is installed in the penetrating hole X to detect the insertion of the door key 200 or some other object into the door cylinder lock 100. Also provided is a means 12 for driving a warning device which, for example, consists of a remote control transmitter 10 and a receiver 11. When output signals are generated both from the sensor 6 and from the means 12 for driving a warning device, a warning device 14 is activated via a control means 9 to prevent a car theft. |
