PURPOSE:To enable any type of slip to be output using the same format regardless of the number of words recorded in a single unit of data by providing a word information storage device which stores the name of a slip and at the same time, stores the name of each word of the slip and allowing said device to output the name of a slip and also the name of word for every line. CONSTITUTION:When data for a slip is output, at least the number of words equal to a single unit of recorded data for a slip is saved in a data storage device 1a. In addition, the name of a slip and the same of each word of the slip are set and stored in a word information storage device 2a. An output device 3a first outputs the name of a slip, referring to the word information storage device 2a, and then outputs the name of each word in accordance with the number of words which are set in the word information storage device 2a. Consequently, it is possible to output any type of slip in the same format, whatever number of words is carried in the slip, regardless of the number of words recorded in a single unit of data, and therefore, use a compact printing device as an output device. |
