PURPOSE:To make it possible to lay down with close adhesiveness to the floor surface and with preventiveness against upward recurving at the borders by making a floor tile itself to a specific layered structure with moderately warped under surface. CONSTITUTION:A surface layer 1, made of nonrigid vinyl chloride resin with filler in low mix proportion, an intermediate layer 2, made of thermoplastic resin with high filler mixing proportion, a glass fiber layer 3 and a lower layer 4, made of thermoplastic resin with the same as or more filler mixing ratio than the intermediate layer 2, are laid one after another, and lay-down type floor tile T is formed thereby. Total thickness of the surface layer 1 and the intermediate layer 2 is made to be less than the thickness of the lower layer 4. The under surface of the lay-down type floor tile T is made to be warped slightly inward so that it will become tight-fitted to the horizontal plane of a floor, being elastically deformed by self-weight when laid down on the floor. |
