<p>PURPOSE:To contrive simplified fixing of a balustrade unit by temporarily fixing a sleeve-shape support, with a handrail and a sheathing wall top rail connected respectively to its upper side and underside, to a support fitting rod of an anchor metal fixture, and by firmly fixing the balustrade, with the temporary fixing released after fixing the anchor metal fixture to the sheathing wall. CONSTITUTION:To the upper side of a plurality of sleeve-shape supports 3, a handrail 4 is connected and to the underside of the said supports, a sheathing wall top rail 2, with an upside-down U-shape cross section, is connected, and a balustrade unit is formed thereby. An anchor metal fixture 7 is formed of a trestle made by bending a sheet material into a saddle-shape, and a support fitting rod 8 that is fixed to the trestle. Then, the metal fixture 7 is insert-fitted to the sleeve-shape support 3 of the balustrade unit. The sheathing wall top rail 2 and the trestle of the metal fixture 7 are temporarily fixed with a space kept between them, and, at the same time, the anchor metal fixture 7 is fixed to the top of the sheathing wall 1 with a bolt 16. After that, temporary fixing is released and the balustrade unit is lowered to the fixing position and is fixed thereto with bolts 14. Thereby, the fixing can be made easily without the need for position adjustment for the metal fixture.</p> |
