PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting and detachment of a contact lens and to prevent the contamination and damage of an eyeball at the time of mounting and detachment by forming both of an air chamber and a lens mounting surface from rubber or soft plastics and respectively providing open air take-in ports to both of them. CONSTITUTION:Soft plastics or rubber is used as material quality to constitute the title device of an air chamber 1, a contact lens mounting surface 4 and respective open air take-in ports 2, 3. Air is vented from the air chamber 1 by pressing said chamber and the open air take-in port 2 is closed to bring the contact lens mounting surface 4 into close contact with a contact lens 5 and the pressing of the air chamber 1 is stopped to suck the contact lens 5. When the contact lens 5 is detached from an eyeball, the mounting surface 4 is brought into close contact with the contact lens 5 on the eyeball and the air chamber 1 is pressed to vent air and the open air take-in port 2 is closed and the pressing of the air chamber 1 is stopped. Whereupon, the contact lens 5 is sucked to the mounting surface 4 and can be detached from the eyeball. The shape of the mounting surface 4 is made circular and the area thereof is set to 90% or less of the contact lens 5. |
