PURPOSE:To improve sensitivity and potential stability in repetitive use by incorporating a specific disazo pigment into a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The disazo pigment expressed by general formula I is dispersed and incorporated into a suitable binder and is formed on a conductive base, by which the photosensitive layer is formed. Since the photocarrier generating power is improved by the substd. thio group on the benzene skeleton in this way, the high sensitivity is exhibited and the stability of the potential in the repetitive use is improved. |
