PURPOSE:To perform good curving operation keeping a curved state even at the time of large bending by a small and simple device by filling the friction body housing chamber formed between a fixed shaft and a rotary shaft in a ring shape with an elastic cylindrical friction body in a compressed state. CONSTITUTION:An annular friction body housing chamber 10 is formed between the protruding end part of a fixed shaft 2 and an RL rotary shaft 3 and a screw groove 11 is spirally provided to the outer peripheral surface of the fixed shaft 2 in said chamber 10. An elastic cylindrical friction body 12 is pressed in the friction body housing chamber 10 by a nut 13 to be mounted in a compressed state and the compression quantity thereof is adjusted by the tightening quantity of the nut 13. When an BL operation knob 9 is rotationally operated to apply curving in a left-and-right direction, the friction resistance due to the friction body 12 interposed between the rotating RL rotary shaft 3, the fixed shaft 2 being a fixed body and the nut 13 is generated and the brake is applied to the rotation of a pulley 4 to keep a curved state. When the RL operation knob 9 is rotated against friction resistance, curving operation can be also performed by rotating the pulley 4. |
