<p>NEW MATERIAL:The compound (salt) of formula [A1 is L(D)-PyroGlu (pyroglutamic acid) or L(D)-Glu(OR) (OR is group bonding to gamma-carboxyl group of glutamic acid; R is H or 1-8C alkyl; A2 is Gly, Pro, Ala, Val, NVal, NLeu, pipecolic acid or 2-aminobutyric acid)]. USE:Substrate for the determination of enzymatic activity of trypsin, etc. PREPARATION:The compound of formula can be produced, e.g., by reacting arginine having protected alpha-amino group and side-chain functional group with 5-aminosalicylic acid hydrochloride in a solvent such as dimethyformamide, removing the amino-protecting group, successively reacting with alanine having protected alpha-amino group and puroglutamic acid and finally removing the protecting group.</p> |
