PURPOSE:To promote and enrich propagation of enteral Lactobacillus bifidus with oligosaccharides, etc., by placing a chlorella hot-water extract as contents in enteric capsules to form capsule substances and orally administering the capsule substances. CONSTITUTION:A chlorella hot-water extract is placed as contents in enteric capsules to form capsule substances, which are then orally administered to promote propagation of enteral Lactobacillus bifidus with oligosaccharides, etc., for use in treating patients suffering from constipation. Furthermore, an adduct is preferably added to the above-mentioned contents for propagating the Lactobacillus bifidus and the adduct is preferably vitamins essential to the Lactobacillus bifidus, such as pantothenic acid or riboflavin, oligosaccharides or the Lactobacillus bifidus. |
