System using the flow of fresh air taken in by liquid-cooled internal combustion engines while they are operating. This flow of air then becomes an element making it possible to lower the temperature of the cooling fluid. To do that it is sufficient to place a heat exchanger 1 in the path of the flow of air taken in by the engine 5. That is to say between the entrance of the air filter casing 3 and of the carburettor 4. This system under all circumstances, even at low speed or when the vehicle is stationary, makes it possible to obtain excellent cooling without calling upon a fan. This system (inter alia) is perfectly suitable for motor cycles dedicated to an all-terrain use, which are always seeking to save weight and bulk, and gain efficiency and reliability. <IMAGE>
