PURPOSE:To prevent decrease of sensitivity and density decrease and fading of a recorded image from occurring by adding swelling inorganic layer silicate into a sublimate dye accepting layer. CONSTITUTION:In a sublimate transfer recording image receiving sheet having a sublimate dye accepting layer at least on its side surface, an image receiving layer contains swelling inorganic layer silicate. The swelling inorganic layer silicate is structurally phyllosilicate of which ratio of Si to O of SiO4 tetrahedron is theoretically 2 to 5, which has a crystal structure in which a crystal unit cell is repeated in the depth direction. Thereby, sensitivity is improved, and density decrease and fading of an image when recording speed is increased are prevented. |
