<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a film having improved energy absorption, scratch resistance, wear resistance and antifogging properties as an outer layer of a safety window by forming a thin coating film due to a specific acrylic polymer on a support, then forming a specific polyurethane layer thereon, and separating it from the support. CONSTITUTION: A thin film based on an acrylic prepolymer, an acrylic polymer for holding a hydroxyl group, or isocyanate having a long difunctional value larger than 2 is formed on a support previously coated with a separator, and thereon is cast a reaction mixture of an isocyanate component and a polyol component containing at least one long difunctional polyol having a molecular weight between 500 to 10,000 containing at least partial ethylene oxide segments, with wt.% of ethylene oxide segments relative to the total weight of the polyurethane being greater than 20%, at least one short diol as chain extender, with the ratio of free NCO groups of the isocyanate component to free OH groups of the polyol component being 1.5 and 2, and after the polymerization of the layer the polymer is separated from the base.</p> |
