PURPOSE:To completely eliminate the overheat of a rotor and the adverse influence of a bearing generated upon the overheat of the rotor of an induction motor by controlling the temperature of the rotor of the motor simultaneously upon control of its dynamic characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A secondary resistance calculator 34 calculates a rotor secondary resistance R2 from the detected torque Tq of a torque sensor 20, the rotating speed omegar from a rotation detector 22, a torque command I1q*, a rotating speed command omegaq*, and a magnetic flux command I1o*. A discriminator 35 discriminates whether a calculated secondary resistance R2 exceeds a reference secondary resistance value R2S or not, i.e., whether a rotor temperature falls in an overheating range or not. A rotor temperature rise suppressor 36 presumes a rotor temperature, reduces the torque command by an excess amount in term of the reference temperature, and further raises the command Io* in response to the reduced amount, thereby compensating a real torque. |
