<p>A system for tuning electrically powered musical instruments such as guitars characterized in that the pickup transducer (10) normally employed for obtaining electrical representations of acoustic vibrations of the sounds produced by an instrument, e.g., that of guitar strings is directly and continuously connected to circuits (14 and 20) which measure the fundamental frequencies of the sounds and display a visual representation of the extent, if any, to which the frequencies deviate from predetermined standards.</p> |
